ACCOUNTS

 

 Your UCLA ID (and password) is used to access any electronic university resource. You will use it to log on to course websites, view your bills, access university Wi-Fi, and much more.

 

The UCLA ID also your UCLA email address. Email service is provided by Google Apps and you will receive all department and university correspondence through that email. Creating your UCLA ID comes before almost everything else at UCLA.

 

Note that your UCLA ID account is different from your AUD account! 

 

PASSWORD RESET:

Manage your UCLA Logon ID at logon.ucla.edu.                          

A.UD Network accounts are required in order to use computing resources within the Department of Architecture and Urban Design.

 

Your A.UD Network account is used for connecting to the AUD network, accessing the A.UD student servers, and printing. We do require that the A.UD account ID be the exact same as the UCLA ID but other than that they are unrelated (for example, you can have different passwords for each account).

 

To create your account you can either fill out the Printing Account form or you can email accounts@aud.ucla.edu from your UCLA email with the subject "Account Request". 

In the body of your email, you should list your first name, last name, the Program you are enrolled in, and your 9 digit UCLA ID number.  (Programs: UG, M.Arch-I, MA, PhD, etc.

 

Access your UCLA email at g.ucla.edu.

 

Once you've sent the email, we will send a reply email with your new account info and a temporary password that you will need to change.      

 

CHANGE PASSWORD:

You can change your A.UD password at any time by login in to any of the AUD Lab Computers with your AUD Account and pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del then select Change Password from the drop down list.

FORGOT PASSWORD:

 Submit an e-mail request from your UCLA e-mail to reset password at support@aud.ucla.edu  Please include Full Legal Name and UCLA Student ID number
